A novel complex thin film has been prepared by vacuum coevaporation of 1, 4-bis(-1,1-dicyanoviny1)benzene (BDCB) and C₆₀ . Surface morphology and structure of the complex BDCB-C₆₀ thin film are considerably different fromthose of both BDCB and C₆₀ film, as revealed by high resolution scanningelectron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. Sandwiched device Ag/BDCB-C₆₀/Ag has shown electrical field-controlled bistable electronic switching and memorybehaviors.
